| Other | Tania has deferred her university course - a Bachelor of Psychology -to allow her to focus on her preparation for the Melbourne Commonwealth Games.
Tania wants to continue playing badminton at an elite level until at least 2008. She hopes to represent Australia at the 2008 Beijing Olympics and would also like to be selected for the 2010 Commonwealth Games in Delhi.
Interests include socialising, movies, other sports, shopping, travelling.
Luiz arrived in Australia from Saudi Arabia aged nine. At the time she was talented in karate, but three years later chose to pursue badminton. She also works part time at Tennis Australia. |
