Australia’s Joanna Fargus has qualified fastest in the heats of the Women’s 200m Backstroke. The silver medallist from Manchester qualified with a time of 2:10.84, almost two seconds ahead of New Zealand’s Melissa Ingram and England’s Melanie Marshall.
Australia’s Tayliah Zimmer qualified sixth fastest with golden girl from the 100m Backstroke Sophie Edington qualifying eighth to just make it into tonight’s final.
