Day five of the Netball competition saw Jamaica and England continue their unbeaten run in their respective Groups and stay on course for a place in the semi finals.
Malawi also maintained their form in the competition recording their second one-goal victory of the Games.
The Africans were 53-52 victors over Fiji, after they defeated South Africa 57-56 on Sunday. The lead changed hands throughout the match, with the Pacific Islanders taking a 27-25 advantage into half-time. Goal shooter Linda Magombo carried the bulk of the workload in the shooting circle for Malawi making 28 goals from 30 attempts.
Jamaica is looking very strong to book a semi final berth after securing their third consecutive victory of the Games. The world number three side were untroubled by Wales, running out a 74-21 victors to remain unbeaten in the competition.
The game was well beyond Wales by half-time with Jamaica leading 43-6. Elaine Davis was in top form in the Jamaican goal circle, while veteran Oberon Pitterson Dunn combined well with Kasey Evering and Nicole Aiken in defence to keep the Welsh to 21 goals from just 31 attempts.
England added their third consecutive victory of the Games with a 78- 18 thrashing of St Vincent and The Grenadines in the first of the evening matches.
England had the game won by half-time leading 43-9.
Ranked fourth in the world, England rotated their squad in preparation for their tougher matches against New Zealand and South Africa later in the week.
Barbados staged a fighting comeback against Singapore to win 51-40 in the final match of the day.
Singapore started strongly and led 14-7 at the end of the first quarter but Barbados rallied through goal attack Laurel Browne and goal shooter Lydia Bishop to trail by one goal at half-time.
Bishop scored three consecutive goals at the start of the third quarter for Barbados to overtake their opponents and they continued to build their advantage resulting in a comfortable 11-goal victory and Barbados' first win of the Games.
