Australia's Lalita Yauhleuskaya has secured her third gold of the Games, with a victory in the Women's 10m Air Pistol Individual.
Yauhleuskaya and team-mate Dina Aspandiyarova battled it out in the Final, anxiously alternating the lead after each shot.
Yauhleuskaya pulled out a near-perfect 10.7 score with her final shot to take the gold just 0.5 ahead of Aspandiyarova.
Canadian Kim Eagles put in a valiant effort against the Australians, but couldn't challenge for the top two positions and finished with bronze.
"I am quite happy with my match. I have improved all the way through the games," said Eagles.
The Australians also set new Commonwealth Games records for the event. Yauhleuskaya posted a new Games Record of 484.8 beating the previous record set by another Australian, Annemarie Forder back in 1998.
Aspandiyarova set a new Games Record in the qualifying round, shooting a magnificent 384. Joseline Chea of Malaysia finished fourth, with India's Harveen Srao fifth and Julia Lydall of England in sixth.
